Before I start with a design project I like to research and gain inspiration. The following a basic list on my favorite links and tools to jumpstart the design process.
Design inspiration
During this process I research best practices, current design trends, and common ui patterns and solutions. Typically I will throw together pieces of inspiration either in a figma file or adobe illustrator.

Fonts
My experience has been primarily working in corporate so I don’t usually have a need for this unless I am working on an outside project but next up is the fun one, fonts. Typically I have worked within branding guidelines that only allow for specific fonts, in order for a project to be branded.
Colors
Color is truly an artform within itself. It’s interesting how the right combination of colors can create an impactful and beautiful design with attention in all the right places. Some links I use for my projects:
